Cancellation policy
Refunds, Cancellations, Delivery & Replacements
By purchasing from Sunday Sketches, including any monthly, prepaid or fixed-term subscription, you agree to the following terms.
Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any rights you have under applicable consumer law. Where a statutory cooling-off or cancellation period applies, you may exercise those rights in accordance with the law.
Change of Mind & Refunds
Once any applicable statutory cancellation period has expired, we do not offer discretionary refunds because a customer has changed their mind, no longer wants the subscription, forgot to cancel, ordered the wrong subscription length, no longer requires the product, has experienced a change in personal circumstances, or simply decides they would prefer not to continue.
Likewise, personal preference or dissatisfaction with the style, theme, artwork, colours, activities or creative content of an edition is not grounds for a refund where the goods supplied are materially as described.
Our monthly editions are planned, produced and allocated according to subscriber numbers, and we incur production and fulfilment costs in advance.
Monthly Subscriptions
Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled to prevent future renewals.
Cancellation must take place before the next subscription payment is processed. Cancelling a subscription does not ordinarily cancel or refund an order or subscription period that has already been paid for or processed.
If a customer requests cancellation after a renewal payment has already been processed, the cancellation will apply to future renewals rather than retrospectively refunding the current subscription period, except where a refund is required by law.
Prepaid and Fixed-Term Subscriptions
Prepaid subscriptions, including 6-month and 12-month plans, are purchased as a commitment for the full stated subscription period, even though individual editions are sent monthly.
The price of a prepaid plan relates to the complete subscription term. After any applicable statutory cancellation period has expired, cancelling or choosing not to receive the remaining editions does not entitle the customer to a full or pro-rata refund for unused months.
Cancelling automatic renewal, where applicable, prevents the subscription renewing after the prepaid term. It does not terminate or refund the existing prepaid term.
Delivery & Untracked Post
Sunday Sketches mail club editions are sent using standard untracked postal services unless we expressly state otherwise.
A tracking number, live tracking information or delivery confirmation is therefore not provided for standard mail club orders. Customers acknowledge this when purchasing.
Estimated delivery dates are estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates. International delivery in particular can be affected by customs processing, local postal services, public holidays and other delays outside our direct control.
A postal delay by itself does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund.
Missing Mail
If an edition has not arrived within a reasonable delivery period, please contact us directly so that we have the opportunity to resolve the issue.
Where an item appears to have been lost in transit, our normal resolution is to send a replacement edition at no additional cost rather than issue an immediate refund.
A missing postal item does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund where we are able to remedy the problem by supplying a replacement within a reasonable time.
If we are unable to provide a replacement, or where applicable consumer law requires another remedy, we will provide the appropriate remedy.
Customers should contact us before initiating a payment dispute so that we have the opportunity to investigate and resolve any delivery issue.
Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses
Customers are responsible for checking that the delivery address supplied at checkout is complete and accurate.
We cannot be responsible for delivery problems caused by an incorrect or incomplete address supplied by the customer, failure to collect an item, or refusal of delivery.
Where an item is returned to us because of an incorrect address, failed collection or similar customer-related delivery issue, additional postage may be required before the item is sent again.
This does not affect any rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Damaged, Incorrect or Faulty Items
If an edition arrives damaged, materially faulty or materially different from what was ordered, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible and, where possible, provide photographs of the issue.
Depending on the circumstances, we may provide a replacement, repair, refund or other remedy as required by applicable consumer law.
Because Sunday Sketches products contain illustrated, printed and/or handmade creative elements, small differences in colour, positioning, cutting, printing or finish may occur. Minor variations that do not materially affect the product are not considered faults.
Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
We ask customers to contact Sunday Sketches first if there is a problem with an order, payment or delivery so that we have the opportunity to resolve it directly.
A chargeback or payment dispute should not be used as an alternative to our customer service process solely because a customer has changed their mind, forgotten to cancel a subscription, no longer wants a prepaid subscription, or would prefer a refund where a replacement or other appropriate remedy has been offered.
If a payment dispute is opened, we may provide the relevant payment provider or financial institution with evidence relating to the transaction. This may include the order confirmation, subscription terms accepted at checkout, billing and order information, fulfilment and dispatch records, delivery address, previous successful orders, customer correspondence, replacement offers and other relevant transaction records.
Offering a replacement for a missing or damaged item does not constitute an admission that the original transaction was invalid.
Nothing in this section prevents a customer from exercising any statutory rights or raising a legitimate payment dispute.
Repeated or Abusive Claims
We reserve the right to refuse future orders or subscriptions where there is evidence of repeated unsupported refund claims, excessive replacement claims, payment disputes or misuse of our policies.
Any such decision will not affect rights relating to orders that have already been accepted or any statutory consumer rights.
